COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

• Perform start up, installations, maintenance and repairs on all types of mechanical equipment - split systems, VRF, outside air, ductless, etc.

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of mechanical equipment - filter install, belt and coupling alignment, greasing, recording all temperatures, pressures, sub cooling and superheat.

• Complete paperwork, order parts, and stay up to date on installation and repair requirements.

• Communicate with customers and the office any issues that are discovered during install and start up and or repairs that may be required.

• Have a good understanding of air conditioning, heating and HVAC systems.

• Be competent in the proper installation and service practices for duct systems, DX piping systems, chilled water piping systems, thermal storage systems and building automation systems.

• Technical school certification or previous experience is required.
